WEC Haseman (20 yrs 1 month) signed up for WW1 at Victoria Barracks, Brisbane on the 27th August 1914 as Gunner 7th Battery Field Artillery AIF. He daparted on HMAT Rangatira on the 25th September 1914. He remained on the Gallipoli peninsular until the 16th October 1914 when he was evacuated due to gunshot wound right side chest (unit diary).
